About the Item

A Louis XVI style ormolu mounted pedestal with a door, gilded bronze hardware. Decorated with a Vernis Martin gallant scene painted panel on all four sides. It is raised on cabriole legs united by a lower tier, with gilded ormolu mounts throughout, white marble top and gilded rail at top.
