About the Item

Meiji Period Japanese Planter in carved wood, featuring mother of pearl butterfly and floral insets, and finished copper inserts. Incredible craftsmanship and detail. Wood species unknown but possibly Walnut due to color. Wood was recently cleaned and given a very light waxing.
