About the Item

This large terracotta olive jar was made in France towards the end of the 19th century. There are three looped handles equally spaced around the top of the jar. Bands of ribbed pattern wrap around the jar, giving it a distinct appearance and unique style. Make a statement on your porch or in your garden with this impressive, large vessel. Note there is a drainage hole at the base that would have been used to dispense the precious olive oil, and now might help to facilitate the care of ornamental plants.
