19th Century Spanish Terracotta Olive Jar
About the Item
A large 19th century Spanish terracotta olive jar with orange yellow and green glaze at the rim dripping down the sides. Heavy oil residue has blackened over time creating an interesting patina. Dirt at the top has been left as is, but may be cleaned off to expose more of the orange glaze. Minor losses. Nice as a decorative piece for use indoors or on a terrace. Interior still retains oil residue.
Large enough for use as a planter for a small topiary. We have three jars available, please see other listings. As always, more photos available upon request. We have a large selection of French antiques.
