A 19th century French Napoleon III marquetry jardinière with unusual form, ebonized finish with burl of walnut veneer detailed with bead trim. Fine quality cast bronze handles, gallery and large corner ornaments (weighing a total of 6 lbs). French polish finish. Zinc liner is not watertight. Good restored condition. A beautiful planter for the display of orchids. Missing a 2" piece of bead trim. Circa 1870-1890
