An early 20th century Napoleon III style oval jardinière, or planter, made of rosewood with fine marquetry inlay of various woods and mother of pearl. French polish finish. Bronze-mounted with rig handles and decorative cast lion paw feet. A beautiful planter for the display of orchids. All in good condition. circa 1900-1920. Dimensions are 13"W x 7"D x 5.5"H.
