Mid century minimalist concrete Sandbox planter by prominent Swiss interior architect and furniture designer, Willy Guhl (* 6. Juli 1915 in Stein am Rhein; † 4. Oktober 2004 in Hemishofen). Solid concrete made in Switzerland 1955 - 1965. Produced by Eternit AG, Switzerland. Iconic Swiss minimalist design. Elevated side walls with drainage holes. In vintage condition with beautiful patination achieved over decades of external exposure. With two chips to the upper lips and a hairline fissure (as shown). Otherwise, wear consistent with age and usage.
