19th Century Swedish Woven Birch Backpack

About the Item

19th century Swedish woven birch backpack. Unusual woven birch backpack with leather straps. Found in Sweden. Was used by the Sami people for carrying infants and small children. Looks great hanging on the wall or sitting on the floor. Dimensions: 17" W x 8" D x 24" H.
