This antique centerpiece is possibly hallmarked by an unknown maker, but originated from Germany and dates to approximately 1880 and done in a period Victorian style. The basket is composed of Condinental or .800 silver and has large curled handles, ornately pierced sides and stands of four feet with floral details. The liner or insert is done in clear crystal. The basket is clearly marked for .800 silver with two impressed hallmarks as presented.
