Antique Silver Plated Centerpiece in the Neoclassical Revival Style

About the Item

This antique silver plated centerpiece is signed and hallmarked by Phenix, amd presumed to originate from France and date to approximately 1920 and done in a Neoclassical Revival style. The top os the centerpiece consists of a round pierced gallery with a glass insert and accented underneath by an elaborate bracket with a stylized garland decoration and pineapple finial. The top stands on four pillars which stands on a base with accenting beaded decoration and figural rams head feet. The centerpiece is clearly signed with a hallmark and inverted "30" and "Phenix".
