About the Item
Large African wall-hanging basket, Circa 1970.
This large decorative basket comes from Africa, purchased by one of my clients during a trip to Ethiopia in the 70s. It is made of hand-woven strands of straw and leather strips, which create very modern graphic patterns. It is designed to be hung on the wall, as one of the leather straps has been originally weaved for this purpose.
A tall and graphic handmade piece, crafted by local artisans. A very decorative piece to adorn a wall, alongside paintings and drawings, in any interior decor.
