About the Item
We offer for sale a basket with handle, handmade in Italy by weaving thin branches of wicker, reeds and rattan.
Coming from a country house near Rome, it can contain and bring into the apartment of a metropolitan area the true Nature and the slow times that it dictates; slow times of craftsmanship that expertly weaves its fruits.
The various natural fibers with which it is made have different colors and textures, smooth and rough fibers in different earthy colors intertwine in a perfect amalgam.
You decide how to use it, its previous owner used it to pick figs from his tree, it would be nice as a fruit holder but I can also imagine it in a shop with different fabrics or stoles that emerge from its inside rolled up.
The basket is in good vintage condition, it shows minimal signs of use highlighted in the photos.
