Cenedese Decorative Object Bowl Centerpiece Murano Glass Scavo Midcentury 1960s
About the Item
Large bowl/centrepiece made of spiral Murano glass with the Scavo technique. This technique involves treating the object to create an antique appearance, giving the glass a particular aged and blurry appearance, thanks to the dust that the glassmakers spread over the glass. The dominant color of the object is wisteria. Produced in Italy in the 60s by Cenedese. (Cenedese signature below, as visible in the photo)
