Hand painted. 1 corner of 1 of the dishes has been repaired with staples at some point in the last 200 years.

One is in excellent condition with only a very small, well-weathered rim chip, while the other has been repaired with staples and mortar on the bottom side but is very solid.

Condition: Fair, however has had Victorian era repairs (staples) in a few areas. Art on porcelain appears intact and in good condition however.

A church stands in the background, a lovely border. The staple is good and tight. Very good repaired condition.

The condition overall is fabulous and original but does have an old stapled repair. I personally like these as an added detail and they don't effect the use-ability of the piece.
