About the Item

To tell a few words about the beginning of use of coconut and silver for cups we can say that it t is interesting to know that during the 16th century, Portuguese traders imported coconuts to Western Europe from Africa and the Indies and these exotic products were greatly valued for their therapeutic properties. Sometimes very highly worked, the coconuts were transformed into cups and presented as luxury products in the cabinets or wunderkammer of well-known traders or powerful people. This piece will be delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity. Is there the presence of one mark on the border of the cup, the single letter "L".
