Huge Antique Scandinavian Folk Art Carved Wooden Handled Hardwood Bowl
Located in Hamilton, Ontario
This extremely large and substantial Folk Art carved bowl is presumed to have originated from Scandinavia, possibly Sweden, in approximately 1860 in the period country Folk Art style. This bowl is hand crafted from a hardwood and spans two feet across and six inches deep and has a single wooden handle inset on one side of the rim. This antique bowl shows all its original wear and age and was likely crafted originally as a large dough bowl.
