About the Item

A rare "a puntini murrine" bowl, the pattern designed by Paolo Venini in 1957, this particular bowl was executed between 1965-70 at the Venini furnace on the island of Murano. The murrine canes pulled and cut, to be composed on a plate, fused together and the rolled up on the glass pipe to be shaped. The bowl is signed with the engraved two line signature "venini italia".
