About the Item

Stone Decorative Bowl, Red Jasper, France 1970s. Freeform red jasper bowl or trinket dish. Its top surface is polished to a glossy finish, highlighting the stone’s rich red and earthy banded patterns. In contrast, the underside retains its raw, matte texture, providing a tactile balance. Perfect for holding small items or as a decorative piece : jewels, coins, tiny accessories... Red Jasper can be of volcanic or sedimentary origin. It is primarily composed of more than 80% silica and belongs to the group of monocrystalline quartz.
