This refined Mid-Century Modern "Sarek" vase was desinged by Olle Alberius for Rörstrand in Sweden circa 1960. Handcrafted and glazed in a sophisticated dove gray hue with concentric circular motifs throughout and a white band at the top (and in the interior), this piece offers the austere silhouette and understated aesthetic that enthusiasts of first rate Scandinavian Mid Century design absolutely adore. The piece is signed "Rorstrand Sweden Sarek Handmalad" and is in excellent vintage condition.
