About the Item

A vivid grouping of (4) enameled silver plated decorative bowls: A wonderful pair of (2) Danish Midcentury Modern silver plated trinket/nut dishes, designed by Carl F. Christiansen. Christiansen was a Danish silversmith active in Copenhagen between 1943 and 1963. These feature ovoid forms with a trio of chunky feet and absolutely vivid sparkly blue enameled interior bowls. Different marks to undersides, but both include "MADE IN DENMARK" with Carl F. Christiansen "CC" hallmark. A gorgeous pair of small dishes to punctuate a collection or display on a cocktail table with art or travel books. Also included: Two orange enameled salt cellars / finger bowls designed by John Prim. engraved "Reed & Barton", larger retains original sticker. These are numbered "192" and "193" which correlate to the size of each. They are each also marked with the letter "A" inside of a circle. Wonderful, uncommon pieces with beautiful vivid, bright orange enamel interiors and silver-plated exteriors.
