About the Item

A hand-painted floral wall plate by O& EG, Royal Austria Porcelain, showing the green laurel leaf mark used circa 1898-1918. O&EG stands for Oscar and Edgar Gutherz of Bohemia (now the Czech Republic). The main theme is the Thistle plant and it’s leaves. Beautifully painted, boldly colored, and signed by the artist, Jann. A wide gilded shaped and beaded rim. These pieces look wonderful hung on the wall for a romantic decor. 9 inches in diameter x 1.25 inches High Makers mark. The expected light wear to the gilding, in very good antique condition.
