Vintage Fitz and Floyd Rain Forest Monkey Majolica ceramic Teapot. Vintage Majolica Monkey Fitz and Floyd 1980s Rain Forest Teapot. Designed as a whimsical monkey ceramic teapot in the jungle with palm leaves, pink flowers, the handled formed by the curved monkey tail. Marked FF Japan, Made by Fitz and Floyd circa 1980s. 1 Quart. Holds 32 oz. Dimensions: 10" wide x 6.5" tall Made in Japan. This piece was acquired from an estate in Beverly Hills, California where it was part of an extensive teapot collection. Good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The hand painted surface is consistent and shiny. Inspired by the Royal Doulton, Minton Archive Collection Monkey Teapot, England. Majolica Monkey teapot from the Minton Archive Collection is the first in the series, and is one of the limited edition of 1793. The Majolica glazed teapots were, and are hugely collected worldwide till today.
