A fine example of French ormolu and patinated bronze craftsmanship, this pair of figural candelabras are a stunning example of the Chinoiserie style. Each figure is crafted in patinated bronze, likely an effort to resemble black lacquer, and sitting on ormolu bronze rock formations. Both the male and female figures are traditionally dressed and issue two foliage branches that rise up into elegant foliate motif candlestick holders.
