By the mid-19th century, Gorham's reputation had extended internationally, producing commissions for the White House and celebrated works like the monumental Century Vase. In the 1870s, Gorham collaborated with esteemed silversmith Henry Webster, whose London-based workshop brought a wealth of neoclassical influences to the partnership. This remarkable set features elegant, pierced silver-plated shades, stamped "Gorham." they remain in good antique condition, a testament to their enduring quality.
