About the Item

These exquisite porcelain candlesticks were made in the 19th century by the famous Russian Popov Manufactory. The candlesticks are Rococo in their style. They feature knopped stems which are set on splayed bases on leaf-form feet. The stems support leafy drip-pans and cup-shaped capitals. These candlesticks are painted white, light pink and blue. They are finely parcel gilt with floral motifs, beading, fluting and bands, and their bases are decorated with flower paintings. The items bear the mark of the Popov Manufactory on their bases.
