An impressive early 19th century French clock by T H re Le Roy, having 8 day striking silk-suspension movement with silver dial. The clock, mounted in ormolu case depicting Egyptian lady with lyre perched on rocks holding wreath, supported on plinth decorated with central motif bordered with ribbon bound cornucopias bearing fruit flanked by kneeling Egyptian men. (One spring dated 1833.)
