Antique French Grand Tour Writer's Box or Ecritoire, 1855 Expo
About the Item
Very good condition. There are a few spots of veneer loss, mostly along the flared bottom edge. The lower front of the stationery box, around the escutcheon, also has a bit of bubbling in the veneer. The interior of the stationery box is as we found it, missing the vertical dividers. The inkwells have some edge chipping. See pictures for measurements.
