Austrian Art Deco Silver Plate & Cut Glass Casket or Table Box

About the Item

A fine antique Austrian casket or table box. With a silver plate mount, a beveled glass insert top, and with a mold blown and cut body with a faceted star-cut pontil mark to its base. Simply a wonderful Deco period box for the desk or table top! Date: Early 20th century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details: There is some significant scratching to the base, some light edge wear, and a tiny bit of fritting to the edges of the facets in the body. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Marks: Marked to the tab handle with "Austria". Measurements: Height: ca. 2 5/8 in. Width: ca. 6 3/8 in. Depth: ca. 4 7/8 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.
