About the Item

A handsome, stately desk calendar and letter holder from the Victorian era. It's hand-forged from solid brass, which one can feel from the weight of the piece. The antique brass has a rich and lustrous patina, that reflects the light nicely to highlight the detail of its craftsmanship. I find it appealing how such a simple calendaring system still works reliably in our uber tech-driven times. This piece would hold quite a bit of charm sitting on a 21st century desk, even in the most modern of studies.
