Military Interest A Presentation Desk Pen Holder or Stand Dated 1951

About the Item

MILITARY INTEREST:- A PRESENTATION DESK PEN HOLDER OR STAND, 1951 Modelled as a airplane engine, with two pen holders on each side and a presentation rhomboid-shaped plaque inscribed "G/C S.A. Greene M.B.E". Presented by Cpls.& Aircraftsmen 6 R.D." all on a shaped oak base. 12 1/2" in. (31.6cm.) long, 8 1/4" in. (21cm.) wide, 5" in. (12.7cm.) high. Stylized model of a five cylinder aircraft engine based on a Kinner R 755, which was used on WWII Pt 22 Ryan Trainer airplane. Stanley Arthur Greene was training pilots for service and was a member of the Order of the British Empire.
