Nineteenth Century Cobalt Porcelain Inkstand

About the Item

This is a lovely porcelain ink stand, most probably French, from the nineteenth century. Brilliant cobalt ground with glorious, hand-painted floral and gilded decoration, and bronze lids to the pots. A lovely example of the Rococo style and perfect as a jewelry tray in addition to an ink stand. Some wear to small sections of gilding and restoration to one of the ink pots. Small chip to one volute. Please see photos.
