A superb early 19th century Anglo Indian desk Inkstand This remarkable rare and superbly made Indian desk inkstand is finely made from satinwood and veneered on all surfaces in deer antler and horn some of which have been left with their natural texture and other sections carved with diamond hobnail decoration. This large and highly decorative piece stands on four raised bun feet with a large single drawer above which is fitted with a pair of brass axe head handles and original central lock.
