Dancer vase by Eguzkiñe Egaña
Unique Piece.
Dimensions: W 15 x D 15 x H 22.5 cm.
Materials: Terracotta slip and glaze.
Eguzkiñe Egaña Corta studied advertising and for more than 20 years has worked as a graphic designer. About 12 years ago, surrounded by a completely digital world, she felt the need to create with her hands and it is from there that she took up her drawings and illustrations and began to create with ceramics. She has completed a Master’s degree at the University of the Basque Country: “Ceramics; art and function” and combines her work as a designer and illustrator with contemporary artistic creation. She also teaches ceramics classes at the municipal school of Zarautz, a city in the Basque Country where she lives. She feels the need to explore the relationship between identity and self-knowledge. Work with the concepts; interior, exterior, return, connect, ancestral and artisanal, establishing a relationship between us and our environment, as well as between us and our ancestors, either emotionally, empathetically or through objects that somehow transport us to a hypothetical place in the past, both for its aesthetics and for the ways in which they have been created. Human beings are containers of desires, fears, expectations. Sometimes it is necessary to empty ourselves of everything that clutters the mind. On many occasions the artist works with turned containers...

The idea was born after deciding to reconnect with my family and my grandfather – a sculptor artist. Learning to sculpt and being a designer compelled me to combine these two mediums and use their best values. Experimenting with the functionality of sculpture and the meaning of furniture led me to create the collection.
Studio AOAO is an interdisciplinary studio combining art and design. It was created by Alicja Strzyzynska and Onur Iseri in Amsterdam in 2020.
“We specialise in making sculptural pieces by experimenting with the functionality of sculpture and the meaning of furniture. In our works, we focus on the emotional connection between the object and the user. All of our work seeks the experience of intimacy and the metaphysical bond between personal interaction and meaningful narrative. Through sculptural value and reflective design, we aim to create pieces that last for generations and help reduce environmental waste.”
The inspiration to sculpt came from Alicja’s roots, her grandfather – an artist sculptor. Alicja completed Masters of Arts Degree in Product and Visual Communication Design at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and finished her bachelor degree in Interior Architecture. Alicja previously worked in Tokyo and Amsterdam in architectural design studios. Onur completed his business studies in Japan and worked in digital design & marketing as well as teaching in Tokyo.
The studio’s first collection debuted at Rossana Orlandi Gallery during Milan Design Week 2021. The studio currently collaborates with RO Gallery...

Tall Lily Vase, a Black / Ebony Sculptural Porcelain Vase by Vivienne Foley
Located in London, GB
‘Tall Lily Vase’ is a unique porcelain sculptural vessel by the British artist, Vivienne Foley, which has been released from her own personal archive of artworks.
Vivienne Foley is based in Gloucestershire where she produces exquisite ceramic sculpture. Although in essence they are often functional pieces in form, it is their appearance that makes each unique work so much more. From dramatic structures to gentle sweeping curves, Foley's inherent understanding of porcelain is more than evident and testament to her patience with this most difficult of materials.
Having worked with porcelain for over 5 decades, it is Foley’s dedication that gives her such sensitivity towards her medium. This combined with her expert glazing and acknowledgement of this material’s vast history, results in very fresh and modern works that equally pay homage to what has gone before. Flower forms, poppy heads, bracts and petals translate into foliate rims and sinuous necks, carved and pleated or swept into a spiral. A contemporary marriage of craft, history and nature.
In her own words:
“As a professional potter I have been producing thrown porcelains for over fifty years and so logic would dictate that I have ‘seen it all, done it all’ by now, but on the contrary I still continue to be challenged and interested. The technical frustrations and the uncertainty of results all seem worthwhile when one opens a successful kiln firing. The heart leaps!
I have never been afraid to push my materials to the limit, to accept failures and to follow trails, but I am always excited when basic techniques and familiar methods result in something new. My primary interest is in ‘form’ and in finding solutions for what I call ‘damp engineering’. The comparatively non-plastic nature of porcelain dictates my having to join sections together, but a form must ‘flow’ and construction methods should not be obvious.
Over the years I have fired every sort of kiln and dallied with glazes, spending untold hours testing and rejecting, but since I now work in a small space I find simple black and white glazes and slips are less distracting and best enhance my forms.
I am not influenced by any particular thing – rather, I am interested in everything; always looking for quality and workmanship. I love all aspects of the design world from architecture to textiles. Museums, galleries and exhibitions are my addiction, with photography and the natural world a constant inspiration.
My travels to China and my ongoing study of Chinese ceramics have also been an enduring theme and I have been lucky enough to handle and photograph some of the world’s great collections”
Foley has a global following and is represented in private and public collections world wide.

Melodicware Trio, Musical Portal, Agustina Bottoni
Located in Geneve, CH
Designed by Agustina Bottoni
Handcrafted in Italy
Materials: Solid brass with satin finish - rayon fringes
Size: 150cm x 110cm
Chain length: 150cm / 60
Melodicware explores the auditory experience of objects.
These items contains brass chimes of different lengths that play musical notes. Swinging by breeze or touch, they release casual melodies inspired by Debussy. Melodicware not only embellishes a space as a jewel. Through interaction, it comes to life for a fleeting moment.
The lush fringes of the delicate pieces invite to be touched by passers by, becoming thus an unexpected musical instrument.
Agustina Bottoni
Agustina Bottoni is an independent Argentinian designer based in Milan. She works for companies, private clients and self-productions of objects, textiles and furniture.
Graduated at the University of Buenos Aires, and after years of working in the fashion industry, she transferred to Milan, graduating with honors of the MA in product design at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti. Following, she collaborated with design studios in Italy and the Netherlands before dedicating since 2015 to her independent design practice.
Exploring the language of everyday objects, these projects tell stories through a gentle use of shape. Agustina’s multicultural experience influences the research of different materials and techniques. They also encourage an emotional perception, considering objects as companions in our lives.
Her works have been exhibited at Triennale Design Museum in Milan, Salone del Mobile, Maison&Objet and others.
Since 2016, she is a co-founder of design collective The Ladies’ Room.

Born in Sicily, Marcella Trimarchi moves to Milano in 1985 to pursue a degree in Fashion.
In 1989 she is hired by Gianni Versace as a designer, working closely with Gianni until 1997. Tom Ford then brings her into his Team in 1998, prior to honing her skills further for Valentino & Moncler Gamme Rouge working with Alessandra Facchinetti who she meets at Gucci. In 2012 she moves to New York City and works for Calvin Klein Collection as VP Creative Product Development.
She decides in 2018 to reconnect with her creative side. She was drawn to the bold arrangement of flowers combining her remarkable eye for beauty and her uncanny attention to details now highly refined from her work for Couture collections. Marcella is inspired to explore more enduring ways embody and embolden fresh arrangements, and reinvents herself as The Art Flower Maker, where her ephemeral creations are permanently captured through both photography and sculpture.
