About the Item
A delightful English Art Deco pottery figure of a lamb decorated in green glazes made by Denby and dating from the 1930’s. The figure is hand crafted and stands on four legs with its head turned to one side with raised ears and tail. With cut out slit formed eyes and the lamb is decorated in green celadon colored glazes with the base of the feet left unglazed. A good collectible piece and a stylish display item.
Provenance: acquired in the British Art Market.
In good condition with some natural age glaze crazing.
