This expressive Art Deco Dancing Flapper Sculpture in Bronze Signed Ferdinand Preiss originates from France, Circa 1930. This sculpture is rendered in bronze, full of movement and elegance with a dancing figure engaged in a deep lunge draping a shawl in an arch behind her back and gazing upwards. The dancers athleticism and toned physique are on full display, in the middle of a difficult movement, the shall accentuating the pose and providing an ethereal quality. Highly characteristic of the themes and characters of the Art Deco era, this piece is well rendered and will style beautifully in a wide array of space and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors.
