About the Item

A rare woman's torso, called Eurydice, in white pat de verre, beautifully designed according to nature, by Maurice Legendre, from the well-known manufacturer Daum Nancy, France. The object has a masterly form in a very appealing color - which fits into any ambience. This item is signed with M Legandre on the left back side, on the right is FRANCE readable and on the left side of the figure is DAUM. Measurements approx.: height 12 in - 30,5 cm, width 6,69 in - 17 cm, depth 3,35 in - 8,5 cm Pâte de verre (English glass paste, also known as glass flow) is a technique used in the production of multicolored glass and one of the basic variants of the process called "fusing". For more than 120 years, Daum has been producing fantastic glass works, also in collaboration with various artists.
