A rare and emotionally resonant glass sculpture by legendary Murano master Pino Signoretto (Italian, 1944–2017), depicting a stylized womb cradling a fetal figure. Meticulously hand-sculpted in Murano glass, this monumental piece features a layered composition: a textured clear outer form encasing a dramatic inner core in pink and deep red hues, symbolizing the female form and the mystery of gestation.
At the heart of the piece lies a detailed fetus in rich ruby red glass, curled in a vulnerable pose—an arresting meditation on life, creation, and the human form. The sculpture is mounted on a cylindrical solid black marble base and is signed by the artist along the edge.
