Renato Anatra Murano Blue Glass Figural Lovers Sculpture
About the Item
A stylish vintage Italian Murano sculptural figure of lovers by Renato Anatra and believed to date from the latter 20th century. The solid hand-crafted figure is made in blue tinted glass and portrays the two figures lying in an amorous position and kissing. The figure rests on a small flat polished base with their legs outstretched and their backs arched and raised off the ground and the bodies are defined in simple outline with the male’s arms resting on the sides of the upper body of the female, her with one arm around the back. The back has an etched signature reading R Anatra Murano.
Provenance: Acquired from the UK Art Market
In good condition and a wonderful display piece.
