About the Item

These vibrant Floor fans are from Maarten Baas’s iconic ‘Clay’ collection launched in 2006. The idiosyncratic childishness of this collection is created through Baas’s individual hand modelling of industrial clay around each metal skeleton. The vibrant colours, texture and irregularity of form unique to each piece give the fans their naïve and spontaneous finish. Pieces from the Clay collection are present in museum collections such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and Les Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Design: Maarten Baas Material: Industrial clay with metal skeleton Dimensions (in): W 23.6 x D 23.6 x H 63 Dimensions (cm): W 50 x D 60 x H 160 Made by hand, in The Netherlands. This item is made to order. Please choose the finish that you want for your piece. Signed piece. Crate included in the price.
