Fossil Dinosaur Femur Bone of Theropod Lineage

About the Item

This huge leg bone of a theropod dinosaur was a rare Dinosarian find by any standards. It was discovered in the desert regions of North Africa and has now been conserved, cleaned, and mounted onto one of our custom-created AES bronze plinth bases. CONDITION This exceedingly large theropod dinosaur femur is not just of good size , but also meticulously preserved. Our conservation process ensures the stabilisation and consolidation of this rare discovery, providing stability for ease of handling . It makes the leg bone stable for handling, particularly in areas of fossil bed fractures that have occurred during the fossilisation process in the fossil formation of Tegana.
