About the Item

Decorate a kitchen counter or a shelf with this elegant set of "Vieux Paris" antique porcelain vases. Crafted in Saint Denis, France circa 1860, each colorful vase sits on an ornate brass base ending with elephant head feet; it is further decorated at the top with a pierced and scalloped rim. Each faience vessel features colorful hand painted bird motifs on one side and floral and leaf decor on the other; all three pieces are signed on the facade by the artist, A. Patin. The ceramic barbotine vases are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorn rich colors in the pink and green palette on a black and grey background. Markings on the bottom FB Paris, Saint Denis for further authentication. Measures: 14.25" W x 6.5" D x 12" H (large jardiniere) 8"W x 5"D x 12"H (smaller vase)
