About the Item

Refresher stand or jardinière with the royal coat of arms of France. In porcelain in the spirit of the Compagnie des Indes, oval with two chimera-shaped handles, with polychrome and gold decoration of pomegranate branches, chrysanthemums and fruit, alternating with the royal coat of arms of France surrounded by the collars of the Orders of the Holy Spirit and Saint-Michel. The borders are embellished with cartouches in reserve. Samson, Paris, late 19th century.
