About the Item

Planter by Wilhelm Kåge – Swedish Grace, 1920s A decorative earthenware planter designed by Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) for Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory. Featuring a stylized floral motif, clean lines, and a harmonious color palette, this piece is a fine example of the Swedish Grace style of the 1920s – a Nordic interpretation of Art Deco known for its elegance, restraint, and craftsmanship. Kåge, one of Sweden’s most influential designers, served as artistic director at Gustavsberg and was a key figure in the development of modern Swedish ceramics. This planter is both a collector’s item and a timeless interior accent. Wear consistent with age and use
