About the Item

Beautifully decorated Chinese Export porcelain Jardiniere (Cachepot) or Fish Bowl, hand decorated in a set of 2 coat of arms with bird and animal motif, the other opposite sides bear pink flowers. The inside of the bowl shows two sections of (Koi karp) fish swimming among water plants. One Koi red, the other one blue/black. The colours are a a rusty red, dark blues, pinks, all highlighted with gold accents. The jardiniere dating to the mid-20th century, it was made and hand decorated in Hong Kong by Yong Sheng Cai Ci Chang and wears their makers mark.
