Atterberg for Upsala Ekeby "Tri" Vase Geometric Decor Blue White Brown, 1960s

About the Item

Tall square vase from the "Tri" series designed in 1963 by Ingrid Atterberg for the Swedish ceramic manufacturer Upsala Ekeby. It was manufactured circa 1960s. The vase is made from chamotte clay which adds to its vivid and rustic expression. It is decorated with an incised geometric decor with fields in a well balanced color combination of blue, white, brown and black. The vase comes with the original Upsala Ekeby papersticker on top of vase. It's marked on bottom with UE (Upsala Ekeby backstamp), Abg (for Ingrid Atterberg) and the model number 2674. Factory first! Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Very, very minor fleabites. Measurements: Height: 26,2 cm (10.31") Width: 9,3 cm (3.66") Depth: 9 cm (3.54")
