April has been a full time creative most of her adult life. For the past 15 years her main focus has been photography, However, during the pandemic she wanted to fulfill her dream to open her own creative studio again, but this time In Los Angeles. Her work is all hand coiled One of a Kind ceramic vessels. They are individually created for their unique size, shapes and textures. Each is then covered in many layers of color, slips, oxides, & custom glazes. Each piece is often fired multiple times to create their unique textures. Fragile to the touch but bold in the statement.
April continues to create in the studio all the while creating with her clients behind the camera with her team at April Belle Photos. Shine Studios was born at time when the world was shut down; but her team wanted to create. It remains a space of peace, safety and pure joy. Hand Built sculpture clay. Multi Layered Glazing . One of a kind. Made in Los Angeles.
This large coil built vessel makes a lovely home for fresh or dried flowers. Due to the nature of the intense glaze, this product could sweat over time. Please place a thin cork beneath to keep surfaces protected.
