Contemporary Collectible Vase Hand Painted Porcelain Ceramic

About the Item

Handcrafted from the finest terracotta, the Tarquinia Cassata vase has light blue brushstrokes floating on a warm pink enamel surface. The top is crowned by a rough-edged rim, and interspersed with lively blue, green and red silicon inserts. The overrall effect reminds of an Italian dessert cake, the cassata, hence its name. Geranium vase, Ø 26 x 25 H Tarquinia Collection Hand painted enamel, fine clay with silicon inserts Made in Italy Coralla Maiuri has been working for many years with different materials. Her recent production includes ceramics where she expresses freely her creativity. Her creations look like fairytales and yet familiar. Their earthy surfaces, golden stains, graphic signs, colored brushstrokes, iridescent surfaces and original inserts spark a lively resonance. Each of Coralla's vases shows her taste for experimentation with color and material. The Tarquinia Collection was created in 2017 at her country house during a hot summer week.
