About the Item
Exotic and dramatic, this pair of tall head vases, partially molded and partially hand-formed, depict mask-like smiling heads with chocolate-brown bodies contrasting with sage-green headdresses and bases. Although emblematic of the 1940s fascination with all things exotic, there is something different and unusual about these sculptures -- we have never seen anything like them before. Measures: 15".
