About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown, sky blue and copper aventurine fleck swirls over white Italian art glass flower vase. The vase is documented to the Fratelli Toso company, in the "Apparenza" design. It is also called "Starry Night" by collectors, from the resemblance to Van Gogh's painting style. In this case, it looks more like a silver lined cloudy day's sky, rather than night. The aventurine swirls are all over the vase, and glitters when captured by the light (see all close up photos). The rim has a scroll decorative accent as well. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or console table. Mid-century era. Measures: 7 3/4" tall x 5 3/4" long at the rim, and 4 1/2" wide.
