Futurist Decorative Ceramic Vase by Galvani Pordenone, Italy, 1970s

About the Item

Wonderful ceramic vase with futurist-style airbrush decorations, signed and numbered under the base, with object number, decoration code, and format code, made by the Galvani manufacture. Very high artistic quality of the object, note the beauty of the decorations of the fawn portrayed, the beauty of the light and dark present that create a superb contrast, which are among the most important futurist decorations in the world as any expert will know. The "Galvani" ceramic factory in Pordenone was founded in 1811 by Giuseppe Galvani. Under the artistic direction of Angelo Simonetto, and later in the Thirties with the collaboration of Armando Pizzinato and Roberto Rosati, the factory leaves the traditional production and begins to create works with a modernist flavor, often decorated with airbrush designs that made it famous in international level for the quality and beauty of its artistic ceramic productions.
